Animal Report: Naked Mole-Rats -- By Mickey

The ugliest animal I've ever seen!

Did you know that naked mole rats can't feel pain in their skin? That's not even the weirdest thing about them!

Charecteristics
Diagram of a naked mole-rat.

The  naked mole rat is a very ugly animal and also funny to look at. Their noses look like pigs and they have no hair on their bodies. The funniest thing is the mole rat looks like my grandfather, because its skin is wrinkly all over.

Habitat

The naked mole rat lives in underground tunnels. They are found in East Africa, predominanty in southern Ethiopia, Kenya, and Solmalia.

Diet
Naked mole rat don't eat much variety. They mostly eat tubers. Sometimes they eat their own poop. Gross!

Behavior
Naked mole rats live together in colonies. They separate jobs, like workers, protectors and a queen. They are the only mammals who do this.

Conclusion
I think the naked mole rats are the weirdest mammals I've ever heard of.
